The GRAMMY-nominated extreme power metal pioneers DRAGONFORCE will release their tenth studio album, DragonForce, on March 19, 2027, via Napalm Records. Together with frontwoman and vocalist Alissa White-Gluz and vocalist Alessio Garavello, longtime members Herman Li, Sam Totman, Gee Anzalone, Alicia Vigil, and new band member Billy Wilkins are taking the biggest step yet in their musical evolution. The band is exploring new facets of their skill and virtuosity while building on all the elements that have defined DRAGONFORCE for nearly three decades. Since their formation in 1999, DRAGONFORCE has consistently set new global standards for high-speed power metal. “DragonForce” draws on the band’s early work and promises plenty of energy, relentless speed, and powerful, rousing hooks—all woven together in a way fans have never heard from them before.
With “Hunger of the Beast,” DRAGONFORCE unleashes the first single from the new album and offers a first glimpse into their new era. Blisteringly fast guitars, driving drums, catchy melodies, and the concentrated energy of two extraordinary vocalists meet the virtuoso guitar work of Herman Li and Sam Totman. The song was specifically tailored to the different facets and versatile abilities of White-Gluz and Garavello’s voices and immediately showcases the band’s new dynamic.

DragonForce deliberately draws on the raw intensity and energy of their earlier albums and builds on them with their new lineup. “Neverending Nightmare” continues the high-speed assault with rousing melodies and virtuoso guitar work, while “The White Wolf” reveals further facets of the new material, combining DRAGONFORCE’s signature melodic power metal with explosive instrumentation and monumental guitar work.
