Following the remarkable success of ‚Everywhere We Go‘ — which topped the German Rock Radio Charts for several weeks and racked up over 500,000 YouTube views — the Lancaster-based quintet return with ‚Story Of My Demise‘, a track that doubles down on everything that has made them one of the UK’s most compelling rock acts.
With its driving riffs, irresistible hooks and raw melodic energy, the new single strikes a deliberate contrast between its upbeat sonic delivery and its darker lyrical content. Vocalist Baz explains the creative tension at the heart of the track: a deliberately cheerful song underpinned by bleak, unflinching lyrics about feeling powerless while the world falls apart around you. Guitarist Adam adds that the band simply took an existing demo and pushed every dial to the limit — both figuratively and literally.
Like its predecessor, ‚Story Of My Demise‘ is available as a limited 7-inch vinyl single, offering collectors a tangible piece of the band’s ongoing story.
Beyond the music, MASSIVE WAGONS have also launched their first official webshop outside the UK, giving European fans easier access to merchandise, vinyl and exclusive items with faster shipping and reduced costs.
Founded in 2009 in Lancaster, MASSIVE WAGONS have steadily climbed the UK Album Charts, with ‚Earth To Grace‘ reaching number four in 2024. Signed to Reaper Entertainment, the band brings their explosive live show back to Germany for a 14-date tour in autumn 2026.
