BANGALORE CHOIR has signed a worldwide deal with El Puerto Records, marking the official revival of one of the Sunset Strip era’s most celebrated cult bands. Frontman David Reece returns alongside longtime collaborator Andy Susemihl, with a brand new album set for release in 2026.BANGALORE CHOIR has signed a worldwide deal with El Puerto Records, signalling the long-awaited return of one of hard rock’s most storied acts from the golden age of the Sunset Strip. Frontman David Reece has revived the band he founded decades ago, reuniting with guitarist Andy Susemihl, best known for his work with U.D.O. and SINNER, to spearhead the project.
According to the Paramount+ documentary „Nothin‘ But a Good Time,“ BANGALORE CHOIR stand as arguably the last great band to emerge from that iconic Los Angeles scene, which also produced MÖTLEY CRÜE, GUNS N‘ ROSES, and POISON. Despite the cultural upheaval that eventually brought that era to a close, the band’s music has retained a devoted global following.
The new lineup is completed by Steve Gordon MIA on lead and rhythm guitar, Tommy McWilliams on drums, and the returning Gorka Alegre on bass. Reece describes the new material as a worthy successor to the band’s album „Rapid Fire Succession – On Target Part 2,“ expressing full confidence in the creative results.
Label boss Bernd Stelzer of El Puerto Records described the signing as a major coup, calling Reece a phenomenal vocalist and the upcoming material „melodic rock gold.“ The new album is scheduled for release in 2026.
Bangalore CHOIR are also confirmed for live appearances at the Headbangers Open Air in Germany on July 23, 2026, and the Volcanic Festival in France on July 26, 2026.
