Following successful re-releases of ‚Kings Of Beer‘, ‚Disco Destroyer‘, ‚Himbeergeist Zum Frühstück‘, ‚The Beauty And The Beer‘, and ‚Thirst‘, the Frankfurt thrash veterans turn their attention to one of the most beloved records in their catalog.
For the new edition, longtime collaborator Kai Brockschmidt has once again contributed his unmistakable visual style to a completely redesigned cover artwork, giving the album a fresh identity while preserving its original spirit. Musically, ‚Vo(l)lume 14‘ remains entirely unchanged — and rightfully so. The record delivers uncompromising thrash metal with genuine cult appeal, featuring tracks such as ‚Time Warp‘ and ‚Rules For Fools‘, both of which have long become permanent fixtures of the TANKARD live set, reliably igniting chaos in front of the stage at every outing.
The reissue is available in two strictly limited formats: 500 copies on colored vinyl and 500 copies on classic jewelcase CD. An exclusive vinyl color variant, available only as a signed bundle, can be found at the official TANKARD store at www.tankard.store — reportedly close to selling out.
With this new release, fans of TANKARD are presented with another opportunity to rediscover a milestone from the band’s extensive discography in a premium presentation. The current lineup of Gerre on vocals, Frank on bass, Andy on guitar, and Gerd on drums continues to be one of the most consistent and enduring forces in European thrash metal.
