Extreme power metal band BLOODORN present their impressive animated music video for „Rise Up Again“, a song from their debut album „Let The Fury Rise“, released in May. The video, which features the band as cartoon characters, was produced in collaboration with the renowned RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.
Over the course of six months, more than 40 students from the Bachelor of Design (Animation & Interactive Media) course worked on this masterpiece, investing several hundred hours in the process. The result is a visual spectacle that stages BLOODORN in a unique way.
The project was directed by the talented Isabella Chung, Erin Kim and Casey Xuan Tong Teoh, while production was overseen by Aaron McLoughlin and Simon Norton. Other key roles were played by Boqian Fang, Emily Horne, Alexandra Sam and Andrea Tirona, who were instrumental in the design and animation.
Nils Courbaron explains:
„We’re thrilled to have worked with such a great team of people and animators on this stunning video.“
Aaron McLoughlin from RMIT adds:
„Bloodorn provided us with this killer power metal anthem and we immediately knew they needed to be in the video to show their warrior spirit. We had a lot of fun coming up with different ideas of how we could test them in battle, listening to the song over and over again, and we came to the conclusion that Bloodorn is strong enough to take on the mighty Fenrir! We hope the fans have as much fun watching it as we did making it.“
The music video is now available exclusively on YouTube:
