JINJER is considered one of the most exciting and promising acts in the current metal scene! Following the release of their chart-topping 2021 studio album Wallflowers, which was hailed by KERRANG! (UK) as „… one of the best – and most important – metal releases of 2021“ and by New Noise Magazine (US) as „a progressive masterpiece“, the quartet has conquered the stages of Europe’s biggest festivals, such as Wacken, Download and Rock am Ring, to name but a few.
With the announcement of their new album Duél, which will be released on February 7, 2025 via Napalm Records, JINJER are once again living up to their reputation. The album comprises eleven tracks full of technical grooves, progressively oppressive passages and heavy vocals. The new single „Green Serpent“, released today, heats up the anticipation for the exceptional band’s fifth album even more! The song starts off groovy and carries the initially calmer vocals of singer Tatiana Shmayluk before turning into a furious steamroller shortly afterwards. Once again, JINJER manage to master the balancing act between different influences seemingly effortlessly, defying all the rules and going their very own way.
