On October 23, 2024, Within Temptation performed at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt, delivering a memorable night of symphonic metal with support from Ukrainian band Blind 8 and German metalcore group Annisokay.
Blind 8 opened the evening with an intense set that mixed melodic metal with darker tones, setting a fitting mood. Annisokay followed, energizing the crowd with heavy riffs and melodic choruses. For their Frankfurt fans, the night held special significance, as drummer Nico Vaeen, a Frankfurt native, played his final show in Germany with the band before departing after the tour.
A highlight of the night was Annisokay singer Christoph Wieczorek joining Within Temptation on stage for a powerful rendition of Shed My Skin. The collaborative performance brought both bands together, blending Wieczorek’s vocals with Sharon den Adel’s for a standout moment that resonated with the crowd.
