Bruce Dickinson released the limited edition CD of his new single „Resurrection Men“ with two live bonus tracks last week. The accompanying video was unveiled today and is a joyous look at the touring life that began in L.A. on April 12 and concluded in Athens, Greece on July 21 in front of over 350,000 people!
„The tour was one of the best ever,“ says Dickinson. „The band was just so passionate and into it every night that it was a joy. The audience reaction to old and new songs was overwhelming everywhere and I can’t wait to get back on stage! The video is my thank you to everyone who came to see us at festivals, clubs, theaters and arenas. Who says a metal audience doesn’t appreciate a theremin, bongos and ‚Dick Dale-esque‘ surfer guitars? Mine certainly does!!!“
The three-track CD is available as a gatefold digi-sleeve and includes the bonus songs „Afterglow Of Ragnarok“ and „Abduction“, both of which were also recorded live at Dickinson’s show in Sao Paulo as part of his world tour for „The Mandrake Project“.
The tour, which ended last week, saw Dickinson and his House Band of Hell play almost 50 shows in the UK, USA, Europe and Latin America to rave reviews. The album „The Mandrake Project“ was a huge success both critically and commercially, topping the charts worldwide and receiving some of the best reviews of Dickinson’s illustrious solo career.
