Legendary Finnish goth ’n‘ rollers THE 69 EYES will be releasing new music next week. For the soulful power ballad ‚Fade To Grey‘, the band worked with none other than US songwriter Diane Warren.

Diane Warren, who is often referred to as „the most important songwriter in the world“, has an impressive list of timeless hits. She has contributed to songs by iconic pop stars such as TAYLOR SWIFT and LADY GAGA, as well as legends such as CHER (‚If I Could Turn Back Time‘), CELINE DION (‚Because You Loved Me‘) and WHITNEY HOUSTON. She has also written for rock giants such as AEROSMITH (‚I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing‘), THE CULT (‚Painted On My Heart‘) and MEAT LOAF (‚I’d Lie For You (And That’s The Truth)‘). 15 Grammy nominations, two Golden Globe trophies and 15 Oscar nominations underline Warren’s enormous creative power. The forthcoming Warren/THE-69-EYES single ‚Fade To Grey‘ combines Diane’s outstanding artistic signature with the Finns‘ distinctive sound to create an epic, powerful ballad.
