Down, set, WATCH!“ Between summer festival appearances (also as DIRKSCHNEIDER; find all dates below!) and following the first musical taste called ‚Forever Free‘, the German cult metal troupe U.D.O. returns. – vocalist Udo Dirkschneider and his son Sven (drums), two guitarists Andrey Smirnov and Fabian Dee Dammers, and bassist Peter Baltes – return today with a sports-themed music video for the title track of their upcoming album „Touchdown,“ which will be released on August 25, 2023 via Atomic Fire Records. The song starts off fast-paced and leads into an anthemic chorus that is even suitable for stadiums and fanblocks. The whole thing is complemented by a virtuoso violin solo by Stefan Pintev. The aforementioned music video is in no way inferior to ‚Touchdown‘ and brilliantly combines the worlds of heavy metal and American football.
