INSTINCTIVE TRAVELS ON THE PATHS OF SPACE AND TIME ist der musikalische Teil einer Trilogie, mit der sich Florian Kreier als Angela Aux an die Grenzen des Vorstellbaren wagt. „Nach dem Ende der Zeit“ heißt die zugehörige SciFi-Novel, „Introduction To The Future Self“ das transmediale und alles verbindende Theaterstück – uraufgeführt in den renommierten Münchner Kammerspielen vor einem Publikum, das diesen Abend wohl nicht vergessen wird. Denn die Fragen, die der Münchner Künstler und studierte Politologe in seiner Arbeit stellt, sind groß. So groß, dass sie ins Existenzielle reichen: Wie fühlt sich die Zukunft der Zivilisation an, wenn Künstliche Intelligenz den Lauf der Dinge lenkt? Wonach sehnt sich der Algorithmus? Wie erfährt sich Bewusstsein im virtuellen Raum, wenn die analoge Existenz obsolet geworden ist? Und schickt vielleicht die ewige Suche nach Sinn und Bedeutung auch Super-Intelligenzen in synthetischen Paralleluniversen in eine Abwärtsspirale, an deren Boden nichts als ein Nichts

It is a rare stroke of luck to come across an album that stands out from the sea of weekly releases. A work of art that stands as coherently and naturally as if it had always existed. That docks emotionally immediately, song after song after song. INSTINCTIVE TRAVELS ON THE PATHS OF SPACE AND TIME is one of these exceptional works: of sublime beauty, immediately relevant. INSTINCTIVE TRAVELS ON THE PATHS OF SPACE AND TIME is the musical part of a trilogy with which Florian Kreier as Angela Aux ventures to the limits of the imaginable. „After the End of Time“ is the title of the accompanying sci-fi novel, „Introduction To The Future Self“ the transmedial and all-connecting play – premiered at the renowned Münchner Kammerspiele in front of an audience that will probably not forget this evening. For the questions that the Munich artist and studied political scientist poses in his work are big. So big that they reach into the existential: What does the future of civilisation feel like when artificial intelligence is guiding the course of events? What does the algorithm long for? How does consciousness experience itself in virtual space when analogue existence has become obsolete? And does the eternal search for meaning and significance perhaps also send super-intelligences in synthetic parallel universes into a downward spiral, at the bottom of which there is nothing but nothingness?
