Live Coverage: PRIMAL FEAR & ELEINE – Colos-Saal, Aschaffenburg (09.09.2025)

Aschaffenburg’s legendary Colos-Saal turned into a true power metal fortress on September 9th, when German icons PRIMAL FEAR brought their Domination Tour 2025 to town – backed by the rising Swedish stars ELEINE. A packed house, fists in the air, and pure steel energy defined the night.

ELEINE: Elegance meets heaviness

Opening duties belonged to Eleine, and the Swedes wasted no time in casting their spell over the crowd. With their unique blend of symphonic elegance and crushing riffs, they set the stage ablaze. Frontwoman Madeleine Liljestam commanded attention with both grace and power, while Rikard Ekberg and the band drove the songs with a razor-sharp edge. Tracks like “We Are Legion” and newer material from their latest releases got the audience chanting along – an impressive reminder of why Eleine are among the most exciting acts in the scene right now.

PRIMALFEAR: Heavy metal domination

When Primal Fear finally hit the stage, the roar from the sold-out Colos-Saal was deafening. For over two decades, Ralf Scheepers and his band have carried the torch for German power metal, and tonight they proved once again why they deserve legendary status. Scheepers’ voice was a sheer powerhouse, soaring effortlessly above the crushing twin-guitar attack of Magnus Karlsson and Thalia Bellazecca.

The setlist was a balanced mix of classics and highlights from their brand-new album Domination, released just days before the show. Songs like “Another Hero” and “Demolition Man” sat perfectly alongside fan-favorites “Metal Is Forever” and “Chainbreaker”. The energy never dipped – every chorus turned into a sing-along, every solo into a showcase of technical firepower.

Power metal doesn’t get more authentic than this: ELEINE proving themselves as future headliners, and PRIMAL FEAR showing why they remain at the top of the game. For everyone lucky enough to be inside Colos-Saal that night, this was more than just a concert – it was a pure, unfiltered metal experience.
