LORD OF THE LOST today release „I Will Die In It“, the second single from their upcoming studio album OPVS NOIR Vol. 1, out August 8, 2025 via Napalm Records. „I Will Die In It“ unfolds as a dark sound painting, which is reflected in the aesthetics of the accompanying music video. Melancholic and powerful at the same time, the track appeals for self-determined action, regardless of the given adversity.
After their successful Blood & Glitter chapter, including participation in the 2023 ESC final for Germany and the associated media breakthrough, the number one band returns to their darker and heavier roots with OPVS NOIR Vol. 1 and also delivers the prelude to an entire album trilogy. OPVS NOIR Vol. 1 will be released in several special editions, including strictly limited collector’s items – the first formats are already sold out!

What is the LORD OF THE LOST essence in 2025? This is one of the questions that OPVS NOIR Vol. 1 begins to answer fearlessly.
Once again, the band demonstrates not only musical excellence, but also top-class craftsmanship: Produced by Chris Harms, recorded, mixed and mastered in the legendary CHAMELEON STUDIOS in Hamburg, the 11 tracks crash into the room with a force and brilliance that washes us compositionally directly into a darkly coloured ballroom. From there, the tone is set: Dark Wave Metal in amphitheatre size.
