After a brief creative break, Finnish metal pioneers AMORPHIS are ready to reclaim their throne. The band just announced their 15th studio album, Borderland, set for release on September 26, 2025, via Reigning Phoenix Music.Guitarist Esa Holopainen reflects on the new chapter:> “For Borderland, we worked with Danish producer Jacob Hansen for the very first time. After three successful albums with Jens Bogren, we felt the need for a fresh perspective—and Jacob brought exactly that. A new energy, a new sound.”The first taste of Borderland is just around the corner:The new single “Light And Shadow” drops on June 6, 2025.
Two Tours, One Dynasty
AMORPHIS won’t just release an album—they’re going on the road, twice. First up: the massive “Blood Dynasty” European tour alongside heavyweights ARCH ENEMY, ELUVEITIE and GATECREEPER. Then, to close the year, AMORPHIS headline their own Borderland tour across Finland.
