Product of Neglect have released their latest single, “Sixes in Three’s,” available now on all major streaming platforms. The track features an uncompromising guest appearance from Matt Yakesh of No Face No Case, pushing the band’s sound further into confrontational heaviness and psychological intensity.
“Sixes in Three’s” is a relentless descent into obsession, control, and mental collapse. Built on crushing instrumentation and suffocating repetition, the song explores the psychological toll of chasing meaning inside systems designed to withhold it. Ritualistic imagery, intrusive thought loops, and corrupted patterns drive the track forward, creating a claustrophobic atmosphere that mirrors the experience of being trapped inside invisible structures, numbers, expectations, belief systems, and imposed order.
The song’s recurring lines function as an intrusive mantra, tightening with each repetition and reinforcing themes of false symmetry and manufactured meaning. As the track progresses, its imagery becomes increasingly invasive, depicting the internalization of control as external forces such as religion, technology, ideology, and societal expectation transform into self-enforced imprisonment.
The guest verse from No Face No Case marks a violent tonal shift, stripping away abstraction in favor of direct confrontation. It targets creative stagnation, hollow rebellion, and performative aggression, framing them as another form of submission rather than resistance. Rather than offering release, the feature reinforces the song’s core thesis: collapse often occurs long before force is applied.
By the closing moments, ritual and repetition return stripped of mystery. The patterns no longer promise clarity or purpose, only suffocation. What begins as a search for meaning ends in surrender to obsession itself.
