Raw Power from New York: N.Y.C. Unleash Debut Album “Built To Destroy” and First Single “Heavy As Hell”

What would it sound like if AC/DC were fighting with Judas Priest in an alleyway while Motörhead roared up a Harley next to them? That’s what N.Y.C. sound like with their debut album „Built To Destroy“ (release date: 14.11.). The record was produced by Tommy Bolan and will be released by ADRENALIZING MEDIA NETWORK (Executive Producer). It was recorded at Deep End Music Studios (mixed by Kenny Meriedeth) and mastered by Robert Vosgien (Los Angeles/USA). The album also features a guest contribution from Grammy award winner and Hollywood composer Vince DiCola (Rocky IV, Transformers The Movie). „Built To Destroy“ is heavy, loud, pretty pissed off – and definitely not aimed at making friends.

Founded by singer/guitarist Tommy Bolan, the Queens, NY born and raised six-string shredder behind Warlock’s platinum album „Triumph & Agony“, the band also includes metal legends Stet Howland (W.A.S.P., Metal Church) on drums and Steve Unger (Metal Church) on bass. Together they embody the sound of New York City – loud, restless, angry and ready to rise from the gutter.

With the groundbreaking single „Heavy As Hell“ (release date: 05.09.), N.Y.C. deliver a breathtaking ode to sold-out concert halls and playing on your own stage of life with all the intensity we all crave. The single, which features more guitars than your favorite neighbor’s hobby room, is just as raw and aggressive as the video that accompanies it.

„I wanted to write songs that were real to me,“ says Bolan, who wrote, produced and put his heart and soul into every track. „With our songs, we can let out our aggression and exorcize the demons of our madness at the same time. I’m the guy on the street corner in New York screaming about everything and you can feel that intensity at our live shows.“
