Late summer is about to get loud in Wörrstadt: Neuborn Open Air Festival (NOAF) returns from August 29–30, 2025, with a special warm-up show on Thursday, August 28. What started back in 2005 as a local gathering has grown into one of Germany’s most authentic open-air festivals for rock and metal – intimate enough to feel personal, but big enough to pack a punch.

Line-Up Spotlight
The first names already promise a powerful weekend. Dirkschneider will bring his unmistakable voice and a heavy dose of metal classics to the stage on Friday. On the same day, April Art deliver their modern rock energy, mixing melody, grit and emotion. More acts are yet to be announced, but if past years are anything to go by, expect a mix of international heavyweights and local heroes ready to fire up the crowd.

Festival Feeling
What makes NOAF special? It’s not just the music – it’s the atmosphere. Around 2,500 fans gather every year to celebrate together in a laid-back setting surrounded by nature. There’s no endless walking between stages, no anonymous crowds. Instead, it’s all about short ways, big sounds, and a community vibe where fans and bands are never far apart.
Why NOAF Should Be on Your Radar
This isn’t a mega-event with 80,000 people and endless sponsor banners. NOAF is about pure passion for heavy music. Affordable tickets, a killer line-up, a swimming pool just around the corner, and a community that lives and breathes the scene – that’s what keeps fans coming back year after year.
Date: August 29–30, 2025. NOAF is ready to turn Wörrstadt into a loud, sweaty, unforgettable metal family gathering.
