GRAMMY-nominated extreme power metal veterans DRAGONFORCE surprise fans today with a brand new music video for the album single „Burning Heart,“ which gains additional intensity thanks to an impressive guest appearance by Alissa White-Gluz, frontwoman of extreme metal giants Arch Enemy.
The track originally appeared as a bonus track on select editions of DRAGONFORCE’s latest album Warp Speed Warriors (2024) and has now been reimagined! Since their formation in 1999, DRAGONFORCE have been synonymous with high speed and epic compositions, captivating the global metal scene with their extremely successful albums and cult singles – including the platinum-selling hit „Through the Fire and Flames.“
Their latest album, Warp Speed Warriors, continues this tradition: several tracks have already broken the million mark on numerous streaming services. Don’t miss the video for „Burning Heart“ (feat. Alissa White-Gluz) and don’t miss the chance to see the band live this summer and fall.
Alissa White-Gluz on the collaboration:“As a long-time DragonForce fan, it was an honor to sing ‚Burning Heart‘! This band really knows no speed limits – even as a singer, I almost stumbled over the consonants trying to keep up. But it was an exciting challenge! I’m very happy to be part of this great song and video.“
DRAGONFORCE guitarist Herman Li adds: „Alissa has long been one of my absolute favorite singers in metal. So I’m all the more delighted that the opportunity has finally arisen to work with her on this song. I think ‚Burning Heart‘ is the perfect song to showcase Alissa’s impressive vocal range and catapult the song to a whole new level through her performance.“
