It Takes Six To Rock!“ – While the core message of their enthusiastically received current single is still on everyone’s lips, DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG are already striking again.
Just one month after „It Takes Two To Tango“, DATOG are shortening the wait for their upcoming album „Babylon“, which will be released in October 2025 via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM), and increasing the excitement once again.
The second new track is called „Time To Listen“ and once again delivers an energetic taste of what fans can already look forward to. „The uptempo song ‚Time To Listen‘ shines with the multi-layered lead vocals typical of DATOG,“ the band describes their new single.
„A driving guitar riff leads to a powerful vocal performance that culminates in a powerful chorus, with Udo supported by Peter’s harmony accompaniment and Manuela’s two-part melody line. Mathias‘ guitar solo once again proves to be a marvel of unconventional ingenuity and grandiose virtuosity.
As anthemic as the beginning of the song is, so uncompromising is its compact and energetic conclusion. With „Time To Listen“, DATOG once again underline their uniqueness and once again demonstrate their courage to make unusual musical statements – energetic, authentic and with a characteristic sound that can be immediately associated with this band.
