The band wrote this song just a few days after the war in Ukraine broke out. What started as a band rehearsal ended with the recording of this track. And in true Kaspar Baum fashion, they recorded, mixed, mastered, filmed and edited everything themselves.

Both the single and the whole album are highly recommended to the fans of the 80’s bands such as Joy Division, The Smiths and The Cure, through the 90’s bands such as Wilco and Radiohead to more contemporary bands like Editors, Arcade Fire and War On Drugs. Even Bob Dylan is not lacking as a reference. Nevertheless, Kaspar Baum’s unique sound can be heard throughout the whole album.
