Blackened death metal act HARADRIM has announced the release of the band’s upcoming debut full-length record, entitled „Death of Idols“, which will be coming out on June 23rd via Trust No One Recordings and EAT Heavy Records. Hailing from the far north of Sweden, HARADRIM was formed during late 2021 and is based around the core duo of Anton Palmborg and Dennis Sjögren. Being a band heavily inspired by the crust and hardcore scene of their hometown Umeå, „Death of Idols“ delivers a dynamic and relentless blend of massive tones that will delight all fans of Behemoth, Marduk and Martyrdöd.
HARADRIM about the track:
„Venus Falling contains most aspects of Haradrims music, the first half of the song is leaning on their blackened death metal sound with blast beats and fast riffs while the second half is heavy and epic with a thick layer of guitar leads and a melodic guitar solo. Lyrically Venus represents three things here, the first is Venus the roman goddess of beauty. The second is Gaia, who is mother earth in Greek mythology and the Greek equivalent to Venus. The third is the star Venus which in christian mysticism is associated with Lucifer, the fallen angel.“
